Nanbantei of Tokyo
I wanted to try a new resto in Greenbelt 3 so I decided to check out Nanbantei of Tokyo. We ate at this Filipino-owned Japanese resto specializing in grilled food back in July during my time in Singapore. We had the attention economy term coined a few years back and now we have… the relationship economy. The gist: human interaction at the relationship level fuels economy activity. As if we didn’t know that. But really, this idea was already being played around by Alvin Toffler 10 years back. Click on to find out more. Just added it under ‘blogs’ in my Netvibes. Plenty of...

Would you pay 6.25 pesos for 1MB of data? You...
Calculations as follows (based on current SMS rates in the Philippines excluding promotions): 160 bytes per SMS. 1000 bytes = 1 kilobyte. 1 SMS = 1 peso. 1000 bytes / 160 bytes = 6.25 pesos per megabyte. 1000 megabytes = 1 gigabyte. That’s a total of 6,250 pesos for 1 gigabyte of data. What a ripoff. This has got to stop.

Investing in a MacBook Pro is looking better than ever. Can’t wait to try this out. Wish VLC would get some GPU acceleration too during HD video playback. Hopefully when OpenCL comes out with Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. That would be sweeeet.

dailymeh: So asks Scientific American. But first, a little story, which I can tell knowing you will only connect it to my first name and my blog, not my flesh and soul. I used to be bullied. A lot. Systematically. For years. What happens then is two things: you get paranoid. Every bat of an eye, every word, every whisper, every body movement, you start suspecting they’re laughing behind your...

Vista vs XP = Mistress vs Wife
JP: What is a good OS to install? Vista or XP?
J: If you want aesthetics, go with Vista. If you want stability, stick with XP.
R: That's like choosing whether to stay with the wife or run off with a mistress.
Me: LOL
